Dear Dana,
I have so many things that I want to say about you and your incomparable amount of support, kindness, and love to everyone in your life. I can remember countless times where I have been spending a thoughtfully planned day filled with mini golf, food, and conversations where random acts of kindness make someone's day. Your extrovertedness and ability to start a conversation with anyone is always a time that people hold forever. You know me more than I probably know myself and can make my day with a single word, hug, or conversation. Every moment that I get to spend with you is filled with joy and comfort. You always make time for a talk, day of fun, or just time to catch up even if your schedule says otherwise.
I can remember the days of fun where it is just the two of us. The day most commonly consists of mini golf, lunch, movie/candy, and dinner (specifically in that order). These days out match any other day of the month and are days that I look forward to every year. Without me even saying anything about how I’m feeling that day or what I want to do. I walk into a wonderfully planned day of what I just need. If that’s good Mexican food, a good mini golf course (where I might want to go a little bit fast), or just a day to talk, you got it. I can vividly remember the mini golf course right near your house with the city street bridge obstacles, San Francisco landmarks, and toy car racetrack area right up front. The memories and activities that we had there will always be in my heart.
I am so grateful that I get the privilege to have such an amazing aunt that can meet my energy and dial me down when I need it (more than not). I still am always waiting for the next moment with you whether that is a trip or just a call. You will never understand how much you mean to me. I love you so much.
